Nickname: Spurs, Lilywhites . Tottenham Hotspur has a long and rich history, having won the FA Cup eight times, the League Cup four times, the Community Shield nine times, and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1963. The club has also finished as runners-up in the Premier League on two occasions, in 2016 and 2017.

Tottenham Hotspur F.C., was founded in 1882. Its home stadium is the New White Hart Lane Stadium in Tottenham, northern London, England. Due to the traditional white home jersey, Tottenham fans refer to themselves as "Lilywhites". The club motto "Audere est Facere" means "dare to take action". Prior to World War I, Tottenham Hotspur had become mortal enemies with neighboring Arsenal, and the match between the two teams was known as the North London Derby.
